Commission OKs domestic violence grant

GUNTERSVILLE The Marshall County Commission approved an annual $55,000 grant to help fund domestic violence personnel in the district attorneys office during a meeting Monday.

OWL Receives Two Grants

LITCHFIELDThe Oliver Wolcott Library has been awarded a $25,000 Praxair Foundations grant and a $11,500 Seherr-Thoss Foundations grant for its project called OWL Box, an outreach lending machine that is essentially a vending machine filled with books, audio books and DVDs.
